The door is open to very few.

A stone castle home in the hills of Alpine, where a small number of private groups gather each year for an unhurried meal or a quiet day together.

A home first

The Alpine Castle is a real home on about four acres of oak and granite boulder country in Alpine, California, roughly 30 to 35 minutes east of downtown San Diego. It has hand-laid stone walls, warm wood, a grand entry hall, a study, a parlor, and a deck where the valley turns gold at sunset.

We live here, and we open it to only a few groups at a time. When you come, you’re a guest in our home. You won’t be one booking among many.

Ways to gather

Private Dining. Private dinners and brunches for your own party, usually 10 to 30 guests, prepared in the castle’s own licensed kitchen. We collaborate with you on your food preferences. Private Dining →

Experiences. A private day at the castle or a small gathering of close colleagues, always with castle-prepared meals. Experiences →

Rarely shared

We host one private party at a time, and only a limited number each season. If you have a date in mind, it’s best to reach out early.

Tell us about your occasion. One of your hosts will reply personally.
